What Sets Us Apart

2C A Second Chance was founded to see men successfully transition from incarceration into a new way of living. They may return to society facing challenges with housing, transportation, employment, finances, relationships, emotional wellness, and rebuilding their lives.

The organization was created to provide a safe and supportive environment where men can begin addressing the challenges in front of them while also working on the man within.

Shaun Crayton believes men need more than a place to go. They need support, guidance, accountability, faith, resources, and people willing to walk alongside them.

Jesus Christ is at the center of the second chance.

2C believes lasting transformation involves more than changing a man's circumstances. Men are introduced to salvation and the transformative power of faith in Jesus Christ as they learn to confront their past, renew their thinking, rebuild confidence, develop a plan, and move toward a stable and purposeful future.

OUR MISSION

2C A Second Chance is a nonprofit, faith-based organization dedicated to empowering newly released men of all ages and nationalities who are transitioning from prison, work release, or jail to successfully reintegrate into society socially, spiritually, and mentally.

We provide a safe haven and a second chance, offering counseling and guidance, emotional and spiritual resources, transportation assistance, employment support, and housing.

At the heart of our mission is helping men receive the support, resources, and opportunities they need to rebuild their lives and move forward with hope and purpose.
